Dear Family, Friends and Sponsors of the Royal Lao Classical Dancers,
As you know, the Royal Lao Classical Dancers is a non-profit
organization. Our mission is to support in-depth, on-going instruction
of traditional Laotian dances. Young people are taught traditional Lao
classical and folkloric dances by legendary master dancer-teachers.
Our goal is to educate, promote and uphold the beautiful traditions of
our rich Lao culture.
Every year at this time, we hold our Annual Festival to showcase all
that our youth has mastered in the Lao classical dance classes for the
past 5 months of devoted practice. At this event, we also present to
the dancers a token of appreciation, such as cash. Since we are
non-profit and have no income, we ask for your kindness in helping us
out. Although we fully recognize these hard economic times, each and
every donation, whether large or small, will be accepted with equal
gratitude. Even a few dollars can make a huge difference to a dancer
who has dedicated his or her time and energy to help in the
preservation of our beautiful Lao dances. If you believe in the cause
and goals of the Royal Lao Classical Dancers, please make a
contribution by complete the attached Pledge form. Please enclosed the
pledge form with the check payable to Royal Lao Classical Dancers. All
donations made as a result of this e-mail request will be applied
toward a gift for each dancer. Proceeds from the Annual Festival event
itself will be applied to the building of the worship hall of the Lao
Buddhist Temple of Antioch.
The words “thank you” are so simple yet, in some cases, they don’t
really convey the level of appreciation that we feel. With gratitude,
we thank you in advance for your interest and generous support of the
